Francesco Cossiga (born 26.07. 1928 ) is an Italian politician and former President.
On 30 November 2007 he stated in an interview with Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera about the terrorist attacks of 11.09. 2001 in New York. In that interview he openly said:

For this, no word of solidarity arrived to Silvio Berlusconi, who has been the author of the brilliant falsification, neither from the Quirinale, nor from Palazzo Chigi, nor from representatives of the centre-left!”

Diana Car Crash
On 31 August 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales died as a result of injuries sustained in a car crash in the Pont de l'Alma road tunnel in Paris, France. Her companion Dodi Fayed, and the driver of the car, Henri Paul, were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Only Princess Diana's bodyguard, Trevor Rees-Jones, survived the crash.
